Acquisition design and layout to suit the geophysical objectives of the project

Advise on the technical specifications for an 'Invitation to Tender' for data acquisition. Draw up the ITT and issue it on behalf of the Company.

Evaluate the tender replies and make recommendations on its award

Provide advice on the technical specifications proposed by the acquisition contractor and subsidiary operations such as positioning control.

Assist with the permitting of surveys including liaising with government and industry officials.

Ensure that adequate quality control procedures are established during the acquisition phase and provision of on-board QC personnel. Liaise with onboard representatives before, during and after the survey work.

Day to Day management of the data acquisition. Provide reports as required on the progress of the work, bringing to the company’s attention any incidents that have a financial, commercial or health and safety impact on the work

Visit the seismic vessel at port calls and audit the work being performed
